Hot Yoga in Salford
Sweat with purpose. Breathe into strength. Feel the shift.
At The Loft in Salford, Hot Yoga offers more than just heat—it’s a powerful practice designed to strengthen the body, calm the mind, and energise the soul.
Practised in a gently heated studio using infrared heaters, temperatures range from 25 to 40°C, tailored to suit your comfort and experience level.
So, why Hot?
Heat helps you warm up quickly, relax deeply, and move with greater ease. Muscles soften, stretch, and lengthen safely—allowing a deeper, more intuitive expression of each posture. It’s just you and your mat—no competition, no pressure, just presence.
Detox & Release
Expect to sweat—and that’s a good thing. The heat supports the body’s natural detox process while encouraging focus, breath awareness, and a meditative state of mind. This is your time to reset and recharge.
Will I cope?
Absolutely. Hot Yoga is accessible to all. Our teachers will guide you through modifications and encourage you to move at your own pace. Take rest when you need to. Sip water. Wipe your brow. The real challenge? Staying present—and staying in the room. And that’s enough.

Hot yoga is practiced in a heated room, usually around 90-100°F (32-38°C), to help warm up your muscles and boost flexibility. The heat encourages deeper stretching and promotes sweating, which many believe aids in detoxifying the body. It’s a more intense practice, so get ready to work up a good sweat! But don’t worry, our room is kept at a comfortable, beneficial temperature to ensure you feel challenged, but never overwhelmed.

Staying hydrated is really important. Make sure to drink plenty of water before class and bring a water bottle to keep sipping throughout your practice. Wear lightweight, breathable clothing to stay comfortable, and consider bringing a couple of towels, one for your mat and one for yourself. To keep your flow steady and slip-free, we recommend using a non-slip mat or a mat towel.

Hot yoga can be a powerful practice, but it’s not for everyone. If you have medical conditions such as heart issues or heat sensitivity, or if you’re pregnant, it’s best to consult with your doctor before trying a hot yoga class. We always recommend listening to your body and taking breaks whenever you need to.
Beginners are absolutely welcome, just go at your own pace and stay hydrated. Always let the instructor know if you have any concerns. Your safety and comfort come first.
